Banners with images or topics other then Ham related!

Your TOS has this:

I am catering only to hams with Web sites and ham related Web sites.

Could you elaborate more on this, my complaint is on the banner that N7QVC is running, the only thing that is in his/her banner is the call sign. I would appreciate that the banners comply with the statement as well!

I guess I am a little confused.

N7QVC is a call sign (check it on QRZ). In fact, I have known Tony online for years.

Granted, there is a lot of Christian material on the site. But if you go to the page that is set up (http://www.n7qvc.com/links), you'll see a link to the ham information on his Web site.

I wouldn't give Tony too hard a time. He stood up and won against a threat that would have challenged our right to use our call signs on the Internet. Read about it at http://www.n7qvc.com/what_happened.htm . Had he given in and given up his ham domain, you and I might have started to be contacted by companies that claimed our call signs were violating their trademarks, even though that is blatantly untrue.

Regards,

I'm not complaining about the call sign I'm complaining about the fact that religion is over shadowing Ham radio. The banners I understood was to promote Amateur radio not religion. I filter porn and other non related banners from my sites I don't want others forcing there life style on to my visitors. Religion has its own audience and place of worship not on my sites!

If this does not get fixed then I would have to remove myself from promoting your service as you have become over come by other issues rather then Ham radio.

I would be sorry to see you leave. But I am not going to drop Tony's site from HBE.

He scored a very serious success for us and I truly respect that.
